Adi Gibson is a multi-dimensional business operations professional with over 20 years of combined military and civilian global operations management and leadership experience with a proven track record and knowledge in compliance, product management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, process improvement, and diversity programming. He is a founding member of Dexterra Group, created to provide supply chain logistics and compliance advisory to small businesses working in the federal sector and under Tier 2 commercial programs.
Mr. Gibson served as a founder and Director of Operations for Tectus Oil, a Defense Contractor firm, where he managed the end-to-end logistical operation and transportation of lubricants and chemicals to the U.S. military. There he implemented SAP Ariba to facilitate vendor communication in order processing leading to a consistent 95% on time shipment and accuracy performance rating as a small business vendor with W.W. Grainger, Inc. He was successful in collaborating with chemists, engineers, and formulators to develop custom motor oils and antifreeze which led to the company’s acquisition of a passenger motor oil certification by the American Petroleum Institute as well and the approval of a QPL rated military grade antifreeze by DoD. Prior to that, Mr. Gibson served as the Director of Operations for G2 Fuel Technologies where he was responsible for marketing and the contract process and delivery of ground and aircraft fuel to the Department of Defense, Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Homeland Security. He was also part of the DoD sustainable product program along with Concurrent Technologies Corp in the testing of USDA bio preferred lubricants and chemicals to facilitate the military’s commitment to “greening”motor pools.
Mr. Gibson is a former Army Transportation Corps Officer where he served as a Marine/Terminal Operations Officer serving under the Army’s Strategic Preposition Vessel Program. He gained experience in both land and maritime multimodal operations responsible for line haul transport as well as ship/shore crane operations and cargo transfer. His unit was featured in Solders Magazine for its success in moving the Army’s break-bulk cargo and containers under the program.
A native of Hudson Valley, NY, Mr. Gibson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters of Art in Strategic Communications and Leadership from Seton Hall University with a focus in strategic planning. He received his Juris Doctorate law degree from Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School with a focus in federal contracting and bankruptcy. He is a member of the National Contract Managers Association .
